Our Projects
Fundraisers
We have conducted 5+ fundraisers and have raised Rs. 7+ lakhs to fund our ongoing and future projects. We have partnered with organisations like Soch Ke Rang and Round Table India for these fundraisers.
We made a collection of Kalla Space’s own product ranges for these fundraisers. Ranging from yearly calendars to bookmarks to gift tags to envelopes, all of these products included artworks made by our students. To further enhance the public exposure of our students, we took a couple of our students to the fundraiser wherein they got the chance to interact with the customers.
Vivid Visions
Vivid visions is a project under ‘The Kalla Space’ through which we focus on the revamping and brightening of spaces through art. We focus on transforming spaces from chipped white walls to walls full of color and life that bring joy. Over the past few months, we have conducted 8 vivid visions projects.
Our project at GTB Ludhiana focused on repainting walls of the children's ward and brought a 25% improvement in the moods of young patients. Our Vivid Visions projects have involved 70+ volunteers and have impacted 2000+ people. We have conducted our projects in locations like Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Bangalore, etc.
Workshops
Our initial goal with ‘The Kalla Space’ was to bring quality art education across schools and orphanages in India to aid in the holistic development of children and ensure that they are given the opportunity to explore their areas of interest. We wanted to prepare personalized curriculums of students at different stages in their creative learning process, hence we have done that through the aid of our workshops. We have conducted 250+ workshops across India in 15+ cities. Through the help of these workshops we have been able to introduce our curriculums to 10000+ students. Our curriculums have been carefully curated by our founder and the team after closely analysing the art curriculums across various boards in India like ICSE, CBSE, State Board, etc. and we have formulated curriculums that ensure giving a greater sense of liberty to the students which allows them to be more creative in their artistic expression while also focusing on exposure to various mediums, techniques and art concepts.
